Johnny Manziel Needs Help

Cleveland Browns quarterback, Johnny Manziel is trouble. The 23-year-old is battling alcohol abuse, and also alleged domestic violence.  Manziel’s ex-girlfriend claims that he told her to, “shut up, or I’ll kill us both,” after forcing her into a car, hitting her, and dragging her by the hair.

A Job on the Line

Manziel is currently on the Brows roster, but he is not expected to return next season.

“We’ve been clear about expectations for our players on and off the field,” said Sashi Brown, the Browns executive vice president of football operations, in a statement.

“Johnny’s continual involvement in incidents that run counter to those expectations undermines the hard work of his teammates and the reputation of our organization,” Browns statement reads. “His status with our team will be addressed when permitted by league rules. We will have no further comment at this time.”

Former NBA star, Shaquille O’Neal wants to, “take [Manziel] under his wing.” and his father, Paul Manziel said his family wants to help. “We’re trying to get our son better,” he said. “We’re not there yet.”
