Houston Texans’ Jaelen Strong Headed to Drug School

After being arrested for marijuana possession earlier this year, Houston Texans wide receiver Jaelen Strong is headed to drug school as part of his court deal.

The former Arizona State standout was caught in Scottsdale, Arizona back in February when police found him trying to conceal joints in the crotch of his pants.

Jaelen’s possession of marijuana, which normally results in a maximum sentence of 6 months in jail, resulted in a deal with prosecutors in which he agreed to enter a drug diversion program (a course that can take up to 6 months to complete) and undergo counseling. In exchange, officials will drop the case.
