Full House/Fuller House Star Jodie Sweetin Drug Testing for Custody

Fuller House star Jodie Sweetin’s divorce from third husband, Morty Coyle, is final – but she has to pay him $10,000 and both parties must submit to drug testing in order to drive their six-year-old daughter in joint-custody ruling.

Sweetin, who is five years sober, has a history of drug and alcohol abuse. Divorce papers dictate that Beatrix can travel only with a sober parent. ‘The minor child shall only be driven by a sober driver. Either party may request that the other party submit to hair follicle drug testing upon 12 hours notice,’ court documents say. Sweetin and Coyle can request drug tests of each other. Additionally, Sweetin will have to pay Coyle $10,000 as part of shared property debts .

In her 20s, Sweetin began experimenting with cocaine and ecstasy and became addicted to crystal meth. But despite spells in rehab, Jodie began drinking after the birth of her now eight-year-old daughter, Zoie – something she only managed to stop when mid-divorce from her second husband, Cody Herpin, she was threatened with losing custody.

At one point, she had to be carried out of co-star Candace Cameron’s wedding after downing two bottles of wine.

Sweetin is now engaged to 39-year-old writer and producer Justin Hodak, who has a teenage daughter.
